Red Storm Rising
Red Storm Rising is one of the best books to come out of the Cold War. When I was in the Army Reserve we used to eat these books up, I could hardly put them down.
I have been re-reading some of the books in my collection recently. This one is just as fast paced as I remember. Every chapter is another scenario for anyone who does wargaming of the Cold War era.

Ever tried General Sir John Hackett's 'Third World War'. It was mandatory reading when I was in the military (a long time ago).
A great read - as indeed are both the Hackett books.
Team Yankee, Sword Point
Great books all, and excellent wargame scenario books.
