It's a nice day.
Sunny.
Warm.
Hardly know there is a war on.
Except for the armored vehicles.
And the soldiers and the devastation.

Jagdpanther
Germans in the destroyed town.
It's Russia, but far enough south that the weather is nice today.
The troops are dug in.
Taking cover wherever they can find it.
Anti-tank weapons placed with good fields of fire.
Using the cover they can find.

Airplane
I got this Matchbox plane recently.
It's a two seater, generic rotary engine biplane.
I took the package and painted in olive drab.
It now works as a plane cover.
So it can sit on the runway and be protected from the elements.
It would also work as a decoy plane, setting on the runway as a decoy for enemy planes to bomb when it is just a fake plane.

What Scale is That?
The Lotus Esprit S1 The top car is 1/72nd scale, the bottom car is 1/64th scale and the middle car is 1/87th scale. The difference between the largest and the smallest is substantial.
1/87 on top, next to 1/72nd scale. It's much larger in 1/72 but the 1/72 and 1/64 would probably work together, particularly if they were different colors or not parked next to each other.
Because my requirements are many and not everything is sold in HO scale I sometimes uses vehicles in these scales, but seldom smaller than 1/87 and rarely larger than 1/64th. I try and keep specific vehicles on single scale, all 1/87 or all 1/64th, then it just seems like a big or small vehicle.
