Mountains and Mountain Troops
Mountains are the Geo-Hex Mountains.
Two and four inch tall pieces.
Flocked and sculpted and painted styrofoam.
Very durable and realistic in my opinion.
And it goes well with their other pieces.
Mountain troops with skis.
German mountain troops were trained differently in different units. Some could do technical climbing, that is mountain climbing with ropes and other equipment. Some were trained to ski and operate in harsh cold environments. Some got both kinds of training. They also got special equipment to operate in areas of limited roads and cold weather.
