The command ship also functions to evacuate the wounded after the operation.
The fighter will provide air cover to take out any flying bugs. The robotoid will provide medical attention until the wounded can be evacuated.

Good catch. These items are Star Wars and Starship Troopers Action Fleet and a few others mixed together.
