Readers Digest Fire Truck

For some unknown reason, Readers Digest magazine sold fire truck models years ago.

This is one of them, one of my friends sent me.

It's a nice model.

And you can't have too many fire trucks.

It matches Race Bannons shirt.
 

Race Cars

M2 Castline Machines makes this 1957 Bel Aire.

It is die cast metal and plastic.  Very heavy, very well done.

The paint job is excellent and all the little details like tail lights and license plates are painted.

The underside is nicely detailed and the interior is very nice.

With flames on the hood, it's just the sort of car Race Bannon might drive.

Or perhaps that woody by Hot Wheels?

Like the '57 it has a big engine and plenty of power.

And a detailed interior and underside.

As a station wagon it has plenty of room in the back and a sweet holiday message on the sides!
 

Surf Van

Hot Wheels Buzz Bomb van.

I got this for my Beach Party collection.

It's a nice little van.

I like the surfboards on the roof.

I likely will repaint one of them.

But the original paint job is very nice.

The Counter-Attack

The man with the AR-10 takes careful aim, and one Yeti is down.

Then another one goes down.

The villagers run out and finish the job with their edged weapons.

The big AR 10 fires and every time a Yeti goes down.  And every time one does, the villagers defend their homes from the invaders.

This one tries to climb away.

But he can't make it.

The men pursue.

And finish the job on each of them.

The village is safe.

The bald man watching from the old monastery walks away.
 

The Doctor and Race

I have been saving bottle caps for a while, for a couple projects I am working on.

I have a bunch of these Hero Clixsguys that I have remounted on a new base, and removed the small clear stand.

I painted the bottle cap bronze, and mounted it on the clear stand from the Hero Clix figure.

Then I flocked the bottom of the base.

DR Quest and Race in a flying platform.

They are exploring an unexplored part of the desert.

Strange rock formations.

Set down here Race, and we will take a closer look at this strata.
