Army Truck

Cobalt blue is the color of the chemical corps.

This truck is one that I use to transport materials to conduct chemical attacks.

I am making several different versions of this truck both for World War One, and for my 1938 US Army.

These trucks are in olive drab but I anticipate others will be camouflaged.

In my calculation, one truck carries ten men, a full squad.  Four trucks carry 40 men, a full platoon.

Four platoons carry 16 trucks with a company of 160 men.
 

Skateboarders

As part of my American Cities project I figured I needed a skateboard park.

These plastic miniature skateboard park parts seem perfect.

 

I plan on painting them a concrete gray color.

I am even working on a plan to use the skateboards.

I am looking for figure poses that might work as skateboard riders.

Maybe a few head swaps....

Cut off some weapons....

And maybe a repaint to civilian colors....

And these Marines might work for skateboarders with a little work.
 

Skateboard Park

Found these miniature skateboards at Dollar Tree.

They are for use with the fingers on a table top.

The sets have several different skateboards and skateboard obstacles.

Roco Willys Jeep for size.

This one is stairs.

This one has potential.

I may get a bunch of these and use them for making buildings.
 

Crushed Cars in Context

Abandoned cars in a ruined neighborhood.

War, poverty, apocalypse, all look the same.

Having a few dead rusty old cars makes the scene look better.

The Last Man on Earth.

And his neighbor.

Bad neighborhood.

Filled with gangster and wrecked cars.

The once vibrant city is now dependent on gambling money to stay afloat.
 

Monster Truck Crushed Cars

The Hot Wheels monster trucks often come with a destroyed car in the set.

They have a little button and a receptacle on the front, back and top so they can be clicked together.

They come in wild bright colors, red, yellow, green and others.

But once the little button is cut off and used to fill the receptacle they look much better.

Then I painted them a rust color using spray paint.

Here is a line up of some of them.

Rear sides, they will benefit from detail painting but look pretty good even like this.

Hot Dog Dragster

Street Weiner by Hot Wheels

This is a custom car dragster.

I think The Joker is going to get this vehicle.

It is a perfect vehicle for that Batman 66 villain.

Just as Joker tried to take over surfing, perhaps he can take over drag racing.

It's a hot dog with mustard, ketchup, on a bun, and in a little box like they are served in many restaurants.

Nice engine detail.

Rather plain undercarriage.

One seat vehicle with a front end is a spatula.

The back here is a barbecue or other hot dog cooker.

And it closes!
