Dante's Inferno Room Mini

This is a highly detailed model.
Here you can see Beetlejuice inside the building.
The model is fully assembled and painted.
This little Beetlejuice figure is included in this little plastic box that looks like a phone booth.
The figures base fits inside the phone booth and inside the building.
The figure is about an inch tall.
And the building is pretty small, it works well as a building in a dense urban area.

Funko Pop Building

This is a new Funko Pop Bitty Towns item.
They are just like regular Funko Pop Town items only smaller.
Most are unique but this one is a redo of their Dante's Inferno Room from the movie Beetlejuice.
I have the larger one and it's a very nice building in a mid-Century Modern style.
It makes a good neighborhood bar.
This version has fewer details because it is so much smaller.
But it is nicely done and very sturdy.
I use it as a biker bar.

Dante's Inferno Room

The Funko Pop Town full size and mini Dante's Inferno Room.  The big one would work for figures as large as heroic 28mm and the small one for figures as small as 15mm, at least in my opinion.
Now add a few spooky trees and a couple cars.
Boot Hill, and the Munster Mobile.
Michael Myers from Halloween out for a night on the town.
A nice little car for  the Black Widow.  Beetlejuice in the doorwar.
A little lower angle.
Michael on the roof.

Bitty Town Store

Funko Bitty Pop, a small building with a tiny Funko Pop character.  Retails for $7.
This is a store from The Simpsons cartoon.  With Bart Simpson graffiti on the side of the building.
I hate graffiti in real life and even more so in my miniatures.  But I like Coca Cola so here is the solution for that problem.
I got three of these little buildings.
The Bart figure with the modified building and an original building.
The figures snap into a rectangular hole in the bottom of the floor of the building.
Airfix National Guard Military Police officer keeping an eye out for vandals.
Airfix, Funko Bitty Pop, and Buzz Lightyear head with HO figure legs.  Bart and Buzz will be part of my Junkanoo celebration figures for James Bond.

KWIK-E-MART

The KWIK-E-MART is pretty well detailed on the exterior.  Note the electrical meter on the side.
The back side is a bit plain.
This side has the burglar alarm bell, a door and graffiti.  I hate graffiti. My plan is to print out a Coke billboard and paste it over the vandalism.
Front is pretty good, parking sign, milk crates, bike rack and something people under 20 years old have never seen before, pay phones with a telephone directory book.  Some of that may be repainted.
Here is Bart with some kind of Slurpee type drink.
Bart inside the door.  My thought is to print out a "glass" door with metal frame photo and glue it to a piece of plastic to make the door.
I got two of them since it is supposed to be a chain of stores.  The figures will join the Buzz heads as Junkanoo figures.  I am also considering making them into 7-Eleven stores since I worked at one for a while, decades ago; when we used pay phones.
007 stops for a Slurpee and to use the phone.

Bart Simpson

I have probably watched three episodes of The Simpsons in the 35 years they have been on TV.  So I have a vague understanding of the characters and ideas of the show but it just never interested me.
Now Funko has released a new series that contain a very small Pop figure and a very small building.  And that does interest me.
It this case it is the KWIK-E-MART convenience store from the show and Bart Simpson.
Here is the legal stuff.
It is a clever idea, you get a figure that comes in a miniature Pop type box and a building that is associated with the character.  The figure can be removed from the miniature Pop box and inserted into the building where he looks out of the, non-existent front door.
Shown here in the full package insert.  These are designed to be collectable so they can be removed from the package, handled and then returned to the package without having to damage the package.  Very clever idea.  I throw the package away.
The miniature Pop figure can be returned to his miniature Pop package.  I will likely make a door for the building.

Horror Buildings and Cars

I have a small collection of horror related buildings, figures, and vehicles.  Including the Addams Family Haunted House.
Also the House on the Hill which is the home from the movie Psycho.  I have several others including the Michael Meyers House from the Halloween movies.
This is the famous Munster Mobile from the TV series the Munsters.
I have selected figures for the Munster family but they are not yet prepared for painting.
This Dante's Inferno Room from the movie Beetlejuice.  It has a nice balcony.  It is a Funko Pop Town building.  The figures are generic civilians.
The Munsters Grandpa vehicle, Dragula, it is a dragster.  I have seen it in real life and it is very nice looking.  The building is from Michaels, as a Halloween decoration.

James Bond in Live and Let Die has to deal with voodoo practitioners.  In Spectre James Bond chases an enemy through a Dia De Los Muertos parade.

There are also Weird War Two and similar comics, role playing games, and such that could benefit from such a collection.  I also use the tumbled down buildings as a run down portion of a big city.
