I have a small circus for my collection, there were even circuses in Germany during WWII.

This is a clown cannon.

Used to shoot a clown into a net some distance away.

James Bond in Diamonds are Forever visits the Las Vegas casino Circus Circus.  I have been there and it's very much like a real circus.

James Bond in Octopussy is all about the circus as Octopussy's International Circus is a front for diamond and atomic bomb smuggling.

In the James Bond movie Moonraker, villain Jaws fall from an airplane and survives by landing on a circus tent.

So WWII or James Bond, I needed a circus.

So this is one aspect of that.

It's a cute little vehicle.

So you can fire some clown across the big top.

James Bond has a couple movies with circus performers in them.

Diamonds are Forever has scenes in Las Vegas and they spend a lot of time in Circus Circus casino.

Then Octopussy's International Circus plays a large part in the movie Octopussy.

It's a little vehicle that would be typically pushed into the big top by clowns.

It plays a big role in Octopussy.

So I got a couple of them.

I suspect one of them will be repainted and maybe even upgraded a little.
 

Circus Wagons

My local train shop often sells used items.

I picked up these circus wagons used for a few bucks.

This one has a tiger inside.  Circuses used to send people out all over the world to capture animals.

Circuses travel all over the country, sometimes all over a continent, or even the world.  There was a circus in Berlin when the Russians captured it in WWII.
