Toy Soldier Theater

Walmart Christmas building, the Theater.

This building would also work as an apartment building, or even offices.

I have rather a lot of theaters.

So I could use them to create a theater district or entertainment district.

It is a very nice building I think, stairs are a bit steep.

Nice side view and note the stairway is undercut.

The usual big hold in the back.  Let me know what you would do with these big holes.

I added a few toy soldiers to make it a more festive, or more military style building.
 

Race Cars Racing

Formula 1 racing often takes place on city streets that have been blocked off.

So here they roar past a train station.

The pack is pretty full here.

These cars are so loud that having these things racing by your doors is mind numbing!
 

Another Formula 1 Car

This Hot Wheels car seems to be a peg warmer.  It shows up at most stores in large numbers.

I have picked up a bunch of them and will likely repaint a few of them.

Racing teams often have more than one identical car in case they crash one or the engine blows up.

It's a good looking car but graphics are meh.

Needs a little detail painting on the back.

A nice looking car.

The clever use of the different parts to stick through one another to get use out of the different colors.

It has a driver which is nice.

Underside is bland.
 

Formula One

Hot Wheels and other companies have been making Formula 1 cars a lot recently.

I have been to Formula 1 races a few times in Long Beach, CA.

It's very exciting to see these cars drive very fast on city streets.

This Hot Wheels car is very well made.

The markings are nicely done.

It is amazing how well vehicle markings are now these days.

This car looks very good in black.

I have been gathering Airfix figures for use as pit crews.

Not much under carriage detail.

But they have a driver which is nice.

Not Really a Train Station

Walmart Newcastle Train Station.

There is not really much that says this is a train station other than the sign.

It looks a lot like an art museum, or city hall building.

Perhaps a small factory of hand made items.

Maybe a theater so people can watch a play?

Perhaps a music school, or an art school?

Most train stations would have doors in the back, obviously this one does not!

So it seems like a good opportunity to print up a bunch of signs and keep them ready for deployment over the Train Station signage.
 

Casino No Joker

Like the other Walmart Christmas buildings I have this one has the hole in the back for the electrical cord for the lights. I don't use the lights, I don't like having live electricity on the wargame table.

Tasteful potted plant at the front.

The top looks almost like corrugated steel.  Not a great look for a casino.

Hot Wheels makes a few cars with playing card themes and they look great outside the Casino.  Maybe a good hide out for the Joker?
