The Puma commander had a few troops dismount to check the roadway.
Two men walk forward, checking the roadway for mines.
Driving at full speed a Puma driver can't see a land mine.
Only by walking the swamp road can the men be sure the way is clear. While they are looking for mines, there is also the chance of ambush!
The Puma company takes a moment to check the vehicles before they begin to move ahead. We too shall pause, but this story will continue soon.
