Gun

The big guns move up to the front.

Troops move up too, the same way they always have.

This system was proposed but never built.

These railway guns were used on railways until the end of the war.

This makes an interesting addition to the wargame collection.  Tanks by Roco, gun by Lima, all HO.

Tiger Train

Tiger II hull with men from the Reichbahn.  

Moving a K5E railway gun.

It goes to the railhead by train, then is transferred over to tracks for the final journey.

The gun is no longer limited to rail lines.

Making it more survivable from air attack.

M60s

The Tomy M60A2 hull was very detailed and the tracks were rubber.  They were well detailed too, but mostly disintegrated after 40 years.

The Roco hull was first sold as an M60 with turtle turret.  Later it was sold as the M60A1 with the long turret, and then the M60A2 turret was sold separately.

The Tomy turret was pretty bland but came out years before the Roco version.

Roco was highly detailed with nice storage bins.
