Stalingrad

1/72nd scale soft plastic WWII Germans from Ykreol.

Part of their massive Germans at Stalingrad set.

Many of the figures are dead or dying.

Still there are some uses for these guys.

Some are medical troops aiding their partner.

Medical troops increase the morale of units in some wargames.

German officer clutching German flag.

Sort of reminds me of this guy from the movie Cross of Iron.

An excellent movie by the way.

Just the sort of TV fare to get in interested in working on this set.

And then like this figure you can rest up afterwards.

Some wargamers use dead and wounded troops next to their regular figures as casualty markers.

They can show units that have broken morale or have had their morale reduced.

Plenty of uses for this massive set.

They look really cold.

Social media is a great thing. You can communicate with dozens, thousands, even millions of people instantly. You can post photos, send data, and get feedback, instantly, and usually for free. It's great, and it works over most of the world.

Officers had a dispute with the prosecutor. As a joke, they wrote a report as if it were written by a police dog. Some officers put the report on Facebook. Eventually it was very popular and the report got back to prosecutors.

This is what can happen when you misuse social media. While it is a great tool, like other tools, it must be used wisely. When it is used for playing jokes about your agency, it is not a good use. Use social media for official business or us it with discretion on your own time; that's what the SGT Says.
