Painting Mobile Infantry Vehicles

This is the Max Steel, Turbo Racer model.
My plan is to use it for Starship Troops reconnaissance vehicles.
So despite the very nice blue paint I have to repaint them in gray.
I drilled out the rivets and put the "glass" parts into this bag for safe keeping.
When painting with a spray can I keep a small square of paper towel.
Sometimes paint will build up around the nozzle and can clog the nozzle.
I paint models bottom side first.  Then once they dry, I flip them and paint the bottom.  That way the painted top part is not placed on the surface of the painting area and that protects it from scratches.
Here some paint has been built up on the nozzle.
Deploy the paper towel.
Nozzle has been cleaned and ready to spray again.  Often I put a bit of paint thinner on the paper towel to enhance the effectiveness of the paper towel.
The first stage of painting is complete.
