Christmas Truck Part II

Hobby Lobby Christmas truck with tree.

Step one, remove the tree.  I just gently pulled on it and the tree came off.

The peg and loop that held the tree in was affixed to the truck with hot glue and with a little pulling the whole thing came apart.

Here is the truck next to one of my existing pick up trucks.

The detail is soft and the cab is a bit tall.

There is a hole in the tailgate.  I think these problems and the glitter can be resolved.  My plan is to see if I can remove the glitter, and then resin cast the truck.  Too fragile in glass to use for a wargame model.  Over all think the new truck is usable.  Some will likely go to the military and some to civilian use, we shall see.  Right now I am soaking them in different chemicals to get the glitter off of the model.
