5Ton Tractor Truck

Roco 5 ton tractor truck.

Despite being at least 40 years old this is a great model.

Usually it gets paired with the large fuel trailer.

It can also be used to two the M26 Dragon Wagon trailer.

Painted with Testors 1911 olive drab.

This is one of the US vehicles that got an overhaul recently as my nearly 3 years long US Army quality upgrade continues.

I have a large collection and it takes a while to get everything looking nice.

So far I have upgraded over 700 US Army vehicles, either by repair, conversion, assembly, basic painting or detail painting.  I consider the base color, olive drab in this case, and one other color to be detail painting, in this model the black tires.

This project has been eating up my model spare parts too.

This one, however, was complete and not extra parts were needed.

A good truck and I am happy to have it in my collection.
