I'm thinking the rocket launcher is a 70s - era shorter range SCUD missile. The later ones folks became used to were longer range and longer and thinner. I remember seeing systems that looked like that when I was stationed in Germany - but that has been almost fifty years ago... I hope this helps.
You may be right, I think I got this in the early 1980s so as a toy it would likely be a few years behind real production. Thanks for the information WW.
