Roco T54 tank from above.Here it is with the SDV T55 with bulldozer blade.In the old days of the Soviet Union there were three tanks in a tank platoon.Three platoons and an HQ tank gave you 10 tanks in a company.Three companies and one more HQ tank and you have a battalion of 31 tanks.

Nice models. I think the differences to the T55 is not so obvious.
If memory serves me correctly these tanks had an automatic fire extinguish system which released toxic gas in the crew compartment if activated.
I now the similar T55 have been used as 'mock up' 'Tiger 1s' in movies like 'Dead Snow 2' and 'The Tank'. I think they looks more like Tigers than other mock ups based on T34s
Thanks for the comment Roger. Yes, the T54 is wider than the T34 and so does make a better Tiger tank. Still, I think we all the special effects Hollywood can make Lord of the Rings and Star Wars and create whole universes of stuff, making a few Tiger tanks should be simple by comparison.
