Lost World Reporter and Professor

Edward D. Malone, a reporter from the Arthur Doyle novel The Lost World.  54mm figure by ElastoWit.
This figure like the rest in the Lost World series would easily work for the last 100 years or more as a civilian hunter, conservationist, explorer, reporter, military scout almost any adventure type figure.

The rifle is generic enough to fit any smokeless powder era and so are the clothes.

Professor Summerlee, also from the Lost World.  Seen here with his magnifying glass.

A bit of an absent minded professor in several versions of the story this figure captures that characteristic perfectly.

Elastowit figures select the perfect choices to make figures, in that we can get British Colonial troops, and troops for both World Wars and to play those kinds of games we need hundreds of figures.  But to play The Time Machine, or The Lost World you only need a few personality figures to set the scene, and they other mass of troops can be purchased from mass market companies.

These Lost World figures will certainly accompany my US Army troops in the HG Wells War of the Worlds in 1898, and the First World War in 1917-1917, the Orson Wells War of the Worlds in 1938, and World War II as well as many Cold War adventures in far flung parts of the world.

This is a small start up company, based in Ukraine but they ship fast and are very reliable.  You can pay them via PayPal.  I am already planning a new order from them.  You can contact them at the email below:
