Cupola Repair M60A1 Tanks

When your Roco Minitanks M60A1 cupola won't stay on there is a simple fix.  Start with a bit of sheet plastic, as thin as a piece of 3X5 card.  You could even use a bit of card, but I prefer plastic.

Cut a tiny strip off the plastic maybe 1 to 2 millimeters wide and 1/4 inch long.

Using regular model glue, stick the strip along the side of the cylinder beneath the cupola.

This shows the bit of plastic on the cupola.

Wait a couple hours to insure it's dry.  You don't want to end up gluing the cupola into the turret!
Once it dries, replace it into it's regular position on top of the turret.

Now you will be less likely to have the cupola fall off.  The same process works on the M60 and the M48 tanks by Roco Minitanks.
