Fixing the Van

I use this putty sometimes and it works okay.
I put a little bit on this aluminum foil and using a dental tool to fill in the bump in the roof of the van.
Put it on the roof to fill the dip.
Smooth it out with the tool.
Then sand it down with fine sandpaper. All better waiting for primer and paint.

I missed this post due to the blogger issue with late, or no updates at all on blogg links on other blogs. I use a lot of putty on my 3D printed projects, but I think it's difficult to find a good one which fill good, doesn't shrink, and it's easy to sand. I've never seen this one before so perhaps I should check our hobby store. Testors products are not easy to find here though. Your van is coming together nicely.

Testors hobby putty is an ancient product that I have used for 50 years perhaps. It is very good in small amounts so it can dry fully. I have also used two part epoxy glue if the gap / hole is very large.
