The 155mm brings back some bittersweet memories of my time working on that gun at Ft. Bragg in the early 1980s. Those look like the M114 we worked, nicknamed "the Pig." I worked everything from the 105mm M102 howitzer to the M110 8-inch SP - the Pig was the heaviest and hardest of them all. Pure love/hate relationship.
Much of military service is like that. Thanks for commenting.
