Sticks and Cars

I got these little sticks at Hobby Lobby the other day.  They are useful for mixing epoxy glue and stirring paint.  I don't like to shake paint, it often gets around the rim of the jar and makes a mess or makes it hard to open after the paint has dried.

These are craft items.  They are very well made, with surprisingly high quality wood and nice and smooth.

Three packs of 50 so I don't have to buy them often.  When I stir paint with them I wipe them off with a paper towel and keep them.  Sometimes the same jar may need stirring over a period of a day or two and it saves a stick.  I also use both ends before it gets tossed in the trash.

I think it works well for Las Vegas and other luxury car venues.

There are several paint schemes of this vehicle.

Here it is at a casino with other luxury rides.

It might work for Bond, James Bond, or maybe Trench, Sylvia Trench.
 

Hot Wheels Vehicles

Another vehicle sent to my by my friend Clarence.  

He sent me this Hot Wheels 4x4 truck.

Sometimes Hot Wheels does their wheels in brown for off road vehicles.

Even the spare tire is caked in mud.

This transparent car is also a Hot Wheels from Clarence.

It is a little scruffed up but then in the future things will sometimes get dirty as they do now.

You can see the clear wheels.

It is a one man vehicle.

Wheeled Back Hoe

From time to time my friend Clarence sends me the occasional surplus item.

This wheeled back hoe was included in the latest care package.

It's a neat little toy with a very nicely operating bucket.

Not much detail on the underside.

Top is good though.

Milk Run

1938 US Army troops deployed around a off road milk truck.

This is a milk truck modified into a Monster Truck.

It is a Hot Wheels vehicle that I got recently, It is a re-issue, I got one just like it but in different colors a while back.

My plan is to take it apart, replace the black plastic undercarriage and tires and wheels.

They will become something more Army looking.

The undercarriage is actually pretty cool on it's own and I might make it into some kind of vehicle separate from the milk van.

It actually scales nicely with this Strelets early WWII US Army figure.

Deployed in forest this radio truck disguised as a milk van deploys a squad with a radio.

The radio is very large and the batteries are both heavy and don't last long, having a truck to carry them around is very helpful.
