German Naval Infantry

 

1/72nd scale German Naval Troops WWII by Mars.

In plastic.

Just about no flash on most of them.  The kneeling guy and reloading officer have some.

But over all pretty good figures.

The detail appears soft on the uniform but the real one had little detail and was kinda baggy.

Even after removing the flash there is still flash on this pose.  More work for old #11 blade.

Supplies and a commissar to encourage proper socialist attitudes.

Attack with rifles and grenades.

Move the revolution forward.

Fire the weapons of liberation.

Crouching with revolutionary zeal.

1938 US Army

 

Notice I also slipped a Hasagawa horse mounted figure from their Stuart tank kit!

The triceratops was a major problem for the US in Arizona in 1938.

They are all extinct now of course.

Best to charge them and put the sword in just behind the frill.

These are part of my US Army and US police project for the years, 1898, 1918, 1938 and 1958 to fight various at enemies on the home front such as Martian invaders and dinosaurs, and such.

The dinosaur menace was put down just in time for WWII.

Supplies

 

VC with sub machine gun.

Grenadier with grenades on belt and in hands.  Note flash on leg.

Perhaps a Mosan-Nagant?  Or maybe a Lebel?

Several of the figures in this set are carrying supplies.

That was a big deal and they US was never really able to fully stop them.
