GermanGun

The 170mm gun was a long range piece of German artillery.

This resin kit was complex but makes a great model.

I built four of them for a full battery.

They will be towed by Panzer III towing tractors.

This long range artillery will hit far into the rear of the Soviet lines.

This is a Luftwaffe trailer.


It is a resin model.

This trailer is a very nice resin kit.

Trailers like this are found on auxilary airstrips all over German territory.

It builds up nicely.

Armored Car

I have three of these funny looking armored cars.

The Germans used them in WWII.

I like having as many different vehicles as I can get in my collection.

This one will serve with an SS police unit.

My collection is supposed to represent an Army, two corps, four divisions and supporting troops, late war. This unit will keep the rear areas free of partisans.

Rocket

A WWII German AA missile.

The thing I like about resin models is the ability to get models that you can't ge otherwise.

The Germans intended to have thousands of these ready in 1946. The whole war ending in mid 1945 put a stop to those plans.

Still the project was pretty far developed and it is theoretically possible that with a few changes in history they could have launched a few in anger before the end of the war.

So I got one for the collection. Not enough to change the outcome of a wargame, but maybe enough to make it interesting.
