Roco Z-300

This is an unusual set for Roco for several reasons. First it is 1/87 scale figures and Roco made very few figure sets.
It is also very similar to a 1/35th scale set made at about the same time as Tamiya.
It is a group of  four US Army Cold War era commanders looking at a map on a table.
The map is actually cast into the table!

The set is easy to assemble and would make a great little diorama.  Perhaps with an M577 nearby.  You get two of these sprues in each set.

Say Mike, did you ever see the 1/87 World War II leaders set? I thought it was pretty nice.

It's too bad Roco didn't make more infantry sets.

Yes, Roco did the set in HO and in 1/35th scale. Eventually they left off Hitler. It was a odd selection of figures, I though.

For WWII leaders they had:
Churchill, Hitler, Goering, Goering, Mussolini, De Gaulle, Eisenhower, Rommel, and Stalin.

Considering they only made two WWII British tanks, no WWII French tanks and only the T34 for the Soviet Union, and no WWII Italian vehicles it is an odd choice.

Also only one American, but four Germans, including two poses of Goering? I think they should have dropped Goering and included Patton and Monty instead.

Thanks for reading and commenting.
