Fixing and Painting the M47

Roco M47 tank with a repaired center pin.  The pin broke off and so I used a piece of sprue and a bit of square tubing to make a new one.  The square tubing holds the pin in place because the hull roof is too thin to drill a hole into and insert the pin.
The tank anxiously waiting for the pin and turret to return.
Ready, and...
Success!  I have been repairing, paint stripping, priming, and repainting my M47 collection.  I am not sure exactly how many I have, most are Roco, some are AHM and there is at least one from some other company, all HO scale.
Primer paint having been applied to the gray vehicles, and the others waiting for primer.
Soaking in paint stripper.
After soaking they go into this metal tub full of water for soaking and brushing to remove the paint stripper and the residual paint.  I usually soak them at least 24 hours and often longer.
