Tidying up the collection and moved these off the table.SDV makes 1/87 HO scale plastic model kis. They are detailed and have lots of little parts. Many like this one complement other companies vehicles. So a battalion of Petner / Roco T72 tanks would welcome support from this vehicle.Box includes instructions and parts in this little plastic bag.Too bad Roco never did a BMP-1.Hard to tell through the plastic but it's a good kit.
Trident also made 1/87 scale BMP1/ BMP2. Those were white metal kits. Few parts and very sturdy and quick and easy to build. Few parts, almost like a disassembled Roco Minitanks model.
ReplyDeleteYes, I have a few of the Trident soft metal HO scale Soviet kits. They were pretty good, but the soft metal was not ideal for small bits like gun barrels. They were horribly expensive and I only got a few of them.
ReplyDeleteCool! I wasn't aware of SDV kits until now. Do they make crew members to go with their vehicles? Also, do they make infantry?
ReplyDeleteI get mine from my friend Randy, at Fidelis Models. I don't know of any infantry but that does not mean they don't make them. https://fidelismodels.com/collections/87th-scale-sdv-model
