Training in Town

Late World War Two and maneuvers in a small town in the USA.
A brand new Sherman 105mm howitzer drives along main street.
New Jeeps and trucks too.
And the latest in Sherman tanks with the 76mm gun.
Train and practice because soon it will be for real against the Germans.

    Everyone loves a parade !!!! In West Germany we drove thru towns and villages at times too !

    HMMWVs, M113s, M601s, M1IPs, Deuce & 1/2s, 5 tons, etc., etc.

    Up until at least WWII it was common for the US Army to do maneuvers in towns and cities.
    That would have been so cool to see.
