Strelets Heavy Weapons

Strelets WWII Japanese Heavy Weapons in soft plastic.

1/72nd scale figures.

Four sprues like this one.

It comes with a three part heavy mortar that fits better than almost any mortar I have ever built.

Japanese officer pointing with a tripod mounted binoculars.  One piece casting!

Sniper and Lewis Gun.

They got the Lewis gun from capturing them from the US and UK.

  1. The "Lewis gun". Is it a 7.7mm Model 92 Naval gun ? (Nope, I´m no weapons expert, it´s over at PSR ;-) ) Still, they would have used captured Lewis guns as well.

  2. Hello Mr. Bunkermeister,

that is a nice set. 3 mortars per sprue, a light Mg. and a flamethrower. Perfekt for a game like FUBAR or one page kill team
40 k. I was wondering about the unknown officer with your Samurai-robots. Thank you for showing. Sebastian.

  3. Paul, the 7.7 Model 92 Naval Gun is a copy of the Lewis gun. And the Japanese version often did not use the cooling shroud on the barrel, as appears on the model. But who knows what is in the mind of Strelets? You have a great blog, I encourage others to visit his site as well.
    Thanks for reading.

  4. Yes, Sebastian the officer with the Samurai Robots was a bit of a tease of these figures. Good catch!
