Marx Sniper

The Korean War, the forgotten war.

The sniper waits in the hills for a target.

Sits still for a long period of time.

Peering through his eyepiece, waiting for the enemy to show.

Then one shot.

One kill.

I always loved this particular pose.

And, if memory serves, this was recast in HARD plastic for the WARRIORS OF THE WORLD series that Marx put out (hand-painted figures throughout world history).
Can't recall WHO this sniper was named after...but certainly was worth that 39 CENTS.
    (wish I still had him)

    Carry on

  2. I don't remember the Warriors of the World series as a kid, but I did have a few Marx sets.
