Marx Toys made this landing craft.
They were sold with their WWII US Army and Marine figures, but was really much too small.
As seen with this 1/72nd scale figure they work okay with this little guy.
The turret design is not based on any landing craft I am aware of, but I consider it to be post-WWII.
I figure it works as an experimetal version or a post WWII upgraded version with a pair of 20mm guns.
wow. i had one of those when i was young too..brings back the memories.
