Metal Toy Tank

Over the last few years I have been picking up these vintage model vehicles.

Model toys like this were made just after the First World War up until about the 1970's. This looks like one of those Combat Cars of the late 1930's.

The US Army had no money but they still did research and development for amored vehicles.

These models were hollow and pre-painted.

I like the tracks and suspension, very cool, the wheels are more of an acquired taste.

  2. I am considering wheel replacement in some cases, spoked wheels would be better for this era.

Maybe use these for GI Joe uninal cakes in Provos Privy.

  4. Thanks for reading. They are made by Barclay, I think. I got them used. Barclay made similar products in the 1920s until after World War II.
