Finishing Trucks

Trucks waiting to dry.
Finally finishing painting these many trucks.
Probably close to 100 of the various types in total.
The Soviet Army will have a reasonable supply train.
And the engineers will have heavy dump trucks.
Somehow a Roskopf BTR-60 open top managed to sneak in there.  It's the only one I have, sadly.

    Good job comrade! er, Herr Bunkermeister!

    Your approach has made me think about how I would like to paint my own miniature vehicles in the future. True, weathering and shading can make vehicles interesting. But a simple, clean paint job is also attractive, especially for a large collection like yours.

    Sometimes I use weathering to denote units. First company is pristine right off the showroom floor. Second company has had a rough campaign and is very scruffy. Third company has been in the field a while and their vehicles are in good condition, but have a lot of extra gear and supplies on them. Thanks for commenting MR J.
