The Beast

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtxijEqm-b4  The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms is one of my favorite monster movies ever.  And I have seen about most of them!
The Rhedosaurus is a very cool monster, sort of a dragon, but sort of a tyrannosaurus combined.
He is older than Godzilla and is a stop motion monster, so the animation is excellent.
I first saw this movie probably 60 years ago on television.
This kit came by mail order through Amazon, from Japan.
The monster is 30cm tall, which is a foot high.  So it's a nice size for 1/72nd scale wargames.

    Interesting monster. I actually prefer these old dinosaur/monster movies over the more "Jurrasic-" franchise. I know there was made a similar movie in Denmark too (Reptilicus 1961).

    Thanks for the link Roger. Reptilicus is actually two movies filmed at the same time with the same cast. One in English and one in Danish. I have seen both, more than once, the English language version many times. The Danish one actually has Reptilicus flying on those tiny wings, and a musical number with Mr. Peterson and a bunch of children.
