Dinosaur Figures

Many of the dinosaurs in this pack are in active poses, and I like that.
They also look updated from when I was a kid but did not go with the feathers.
Even if the feathers are real, I don't like them.
This guy is crushing someone, pushing down a tasty tree, or wants to fetch a stick.
It is an interesting and active pose.
That's one of the reasons I got these dinosaurs, because the poses were a bit more active than the usual grazing or walking.
These figures have some variation between the same pose, I suspect it is due to taking soft models out of the mold.
They are also a good size for realistic dinosaurs for 1/72nd scale.

Dinosaurs

SDS dinosaurs 12 poses in the set.
These are molded without a base and then stuck onto the base.
That allows them to have great action poses.
This one is about 3 inches long.
They are not huge which is want I wanted.
I like the skin detail too.

Hat British Colonial Wagon

This is the Hat Colonial British Wagon.
I got several boxes of them and no flash on any part.
It is a bit complex for a soft plastic kit but goes together very well.
Despite being a British Colonial Wagon it is nearly identical to the American Army wagon for the same era, late 1800s to 1940s.
The US Army would usually use 6 mules but even two horses was not unknown.
I think a few headswaps will make these perfect for my American Army.

Mighty K

Hot Wheels Mighty K.
A small vehicle that I will use for my Beach Blanket adventures.
It's called Surf Skate.
In olden times skateboarding was called sidewalk surfing.
It's a cute little truck.
With a Hot Wheels license plate.
And a skate board in the back.
Easy addition to the collection.

Thundercats

A Hot Wheels car based on the Thundercats.
I never watched it.
More like a two passenger snow mobile.
The show was about hominid type super hero cats.
Sounds "meh" to me, but then I like a lot of odd TV shows, so who am I to complain?
My plan is to repaint this in yellow.
And put GI Joe Adventure Team markings on it.
Nice wide track.
Two man vehicle, probably have to sand off the old logo.
Underside.
Airfix Civilian for scale.

Artillery Towing

I made four of these vehicles.
The first cars were often boxy and looked much like horse drawn wagons.
Sometimes they would only seat a few people.
This one has spoked wheels and they are in motion so they look clear.
I added a trailer hitch to the back, one of the early ideas was to use them to tow artillery on roads anyway.
I used and Airfix pilot figure as the driver.
Here it is towing a 3 inch gun.
Probably no faster than about 5 or 6 mile per hour, as wooden wheels on artillery don't travel well on speeds faster than that.

White Rings

I went to Michaels and Hobby Lobby and got four sizes of cabone rings.
They are used by ladies who sew stuff.
I am not really sure why.
They are plastic ring with a circular cross section.  The plastic is soft and does not glue well.

In real life vehicle tires were made out of natural rubber and were white until about 1915 when they started adding chemicals to the rubber to make it last longer, and turning tires black.  So I made an old time car using these white rubber tires.
