Winter Germans

These late war Germans are nicely equipped.

There is no flash on any of them.

They are big and thick because the clothing is fluffy.

Even the bottom is detailed.

Winter Germans

Italeri 1/72nd scale Winter Germans, WWII.  Rifle grenade launcher is very unusual.  The rifleman has his eye down into position to actually use the sights on the rifle.

I love the SMG firing soldier.  Look how he leans into the shot.  Very nice.

This looks like the winter version of the Airfix Africa Korps machine gun shooter.

Two shooters, one with an MP44 assault rifle.

This rifle shooter is not good, he is firing in Napoleonic style, not aiming.  The other guy is reloading.

WWII German Infantry

Despite there being a gazillion sets of WWII German infantry, they continue to sell.

This one from Italeri is typical of Italeri, no flash, excellent poses.

All the figures are here on the side of the box.

The figures lined up next to the box.

The figures wear the reversible winter garb or the trench coat.  Grenade thrower is pulling the pin.

60mm with Jeeps

Tim Mee Patrol.

Jeeps and cannons massed at the depot.

60mm Army Men for a size comparison.

They fit nicely.

They go well together.

Jeeps

Old and new Jeeps, nearly identical.

You can see how clean the new axle is on this Jeep.

Old one still looks pretty good for 30+ years old.

While I still need a couple more but I am almost there.

Thank you Tim Mee for the new Jeeps, I am very happy.

Jeeps and Cannon

Old Tim Mee on the left, new Tim Mee on the right.

New Tim Mee on the left.  I think the quality of the new Tim Mee is slightly better than the old ones.

New Jeep old cannon and Old Jeep new cannon.  They transfer perfectly.

New Jeep and cannon.  I love that shade of green too.

New on top, old on the bottom.  Essentially identical.

Tim Mee wheel hubs.

Molded Tim Mee steering wheel.

Stickers that go on the new Jeep or cannon.

The old cannon up close and the new cannon far back.  Nearly identical.

Old in front, and new in back, the new is wonderful.

Old Tim Mee Jeeps.

Some of these are 40 years old.  Note the color variation.

Note the big wheel hub.

This one has the small wheel hub.
