My old computer was replaced and does not work anymore so I took it apart.
Some pretty cool stuff inside.
It makes a good computer set up for the 60mm soldiers.
Back in the old days a computer might take up a whole room.
A few years before that they were even bigger.

A very innovative use of old junk! I remember thinking that the circuit board from behind the dash on a Volvo 850 (i ha one replaced at ruinous expense...) would make a good 'death star'- type space ship in a small scale.
Ouch, but if you get a hobby item out of it you have not wasted your money...
